m// I have always loved the MARIANNE lollies for obvious reasons.. AND also because they are very tasty! hard mint on the outside, soft chocolate on the inside, very addictive! I used to always have a jar of them in my room as a kid, and now I get a box at the duty free shop whenever I go traveling. I´ve got a box full of empty wrappers waiting to be reincarnated into something....above you can see a toiletry bag mabe by MAKE DESIGN , and last year one of my favourite illustrators SANNA ANNUKKA, made new packaging for the lollies. How appropriate!
m// I just got back from hanging with my mormor (grandma) for three days. l love looking in her old photo albums, hearing about 'good old days' and searching her house for old treasures. unfortunately she has thrown out A LOT of great furniture and trinkets over the years, leaving me little to nothing and her apartment looking a bit to modern for a mormor..., but she made up for it by taking me to a local second hand market and getting me these lovely items: books with nice cover patterns (my new collection), womens magazines from the 60s, 50s dessert forks, old amber bottles (used for medicine, milk and cream back in the day) and a lovely red tinted glass china (6 teacups, plates and glasses). love you mormor!
l// Thom disappeared for a little while with some crayons and then returned with a very smug look on his face... I found this one in the hallway!!! haha! Seems I've been beaten at my own game! How can one top a pirate?! I am sorry for the overuse of exclamation marks but needless to say this evening has been very exciting...
l// The switches in our home were begging for a make-over. The koala is to cure a touch of home sickness, then there is a bird and my Dad. Monday afternoon creative spirt accomplished!! p.s I do apologise for the quality of my images of late. I am waiting for a shipment of my stuff to arrive with my camera equipment, till then it's all captured on the iphone...
l// Sasha and I discovered a great new hobby! Colouring in ikea instruction catalogues. She was being uber creative and colouring outside the page, I stuck to the rules... just a little tip for those days with much time and many pencils. Happy colouring!
