L// It's strange but I'm suffering from a project crush on Sophie Blackalls missed connections.. I will let her explain "Messages in bottles, smoke signals, letters written in the sand; the modern equivalents are the funny, sad, beautiful, hopeful, hopeless, poetic posts on Missed Connections websites. Every day hundreds of strangers reach out to other strangers on the strength of a glance, a smile or a blue hat. Their messages have the lifespan of a butterfly. I'm trying to pin a few of them down." I love knowing that these messages come from people living in new york. Such a big city, but people are still reaching out to each other, even if the odds are impossible, to say things they couldn't say face to face... it's just sweet. A lovely side of humanity.
