making do/

l// Sasha and I discovered a great new hobby! Colouring in ikea instruction catalogues. She was being uber creative and colouring outside the page, I stuck to the rules... just a little tip for those days with much time and many pencils. Happy colouring!

nesting/

l// Here's a little peek at my new nest! It's got some lovely features, like the medical cabinet in the bathroom... No prizes for guessing my favourite room = THE KITCHEN. It gets a lot of light during the day and while I am doing the dishes I can peer over our herbs on the sill to the yellow door across the lane... it makes me smile! Isn't it nice and clean mum?! It's a bit empty at the moment but thats a great problem for a hoarder!! I will post some more photos later in the year.

m// logo design for the sister companies PASSIVE HOUSE and EUROPEAN TIMBER WINDOWS. The businesses are operating in australia, importing and installing quality timber windows. Recently the company went to ÅLESUND in NORWAY to meet with my grandmothers family, which owns SPILKA and is the manufacturer of the H-window (also called the HOUSEWIFE WINDOW, as it is fully reversible and therefore easy to operate and clean!), to potentially get a business deal going. Thumbs up for linking norway and australia and great windows!

it's a finch/

l// This is the most amazing thing I have seen since Ron Mueck!!! An installation where finches play instruments amped up in a large white room. If you are in London you absolutely must go to the Barbican to check it out at the Curve gallery. It is on for a few more weeks. The music they make sounds somewhat like the music from 'The books', it is very surreal. I am on cloud nine! floating towards cloud ten!! What a brilliant/crazy idea!!!
